The Lord called Pastor Vic to full-time Christian vocation in 2005 while serving in a leadership capacity at the Moody Bible Church in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated with a Master’s degree in Christian Leadership at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2015 and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Until the launch of BCCEast, Pastor Vic served as an associate pastor at Biblical Community Church in Richardson, Texas.
A techie with a Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Pastor Vic worked in IT consulting, and taught in vocational schools and universities, for over two decades.
Pastor Vic was born and raised in the Philippines. He thoroughly enjoys his acoustic guitar, basketball, ping pong, and movie nights with his family. He especially likes swimming, a passion he’s passed on to his lovely wife, best friend, and staunchest supporter Radha, and their sons Joshua and David. (Fun fact: Pastor Vic can swim 25 yards freestyle with his right leg above the water like a shark's fin.)
Pastor Mike will tell you his most important titles are husband and father. Everything else comes after.
He graduated with a Master’s of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2021 and currently serves in the Young Couples and Young Professionals Ministries. Prior to his current role, he served at Biblical Community Church in Richardson, Texas as Youth Director and Youth Pastor for five years, overseeing Middle and High School students, volunteers, and student leaders.
Pastor Mike is an Army veteran born in Fort Hood-Killeen, Texas to Filipino immigrant parents. He will bring home-cooked food to a home visit, quote a video game at the wrong moment, and somehow make it land. He dreams of traveling the world, learning new languages, and losing a little weight — and is fully aware that one of those is more realistic than the others.
